Woah, press release time — so excited to let everybody know the new Affordable Portables website is officially up and live for our whole Manhattan & Wamego community. This build is truly “Kansas local” through and through, made for a business that’s all about bringing clean and hassle-free restroom solutions to any event or job site. Built entirely by MKS Web Design, it’s also a bit of a personal win for our own portfolio. (Apologies for any typos, blame the celebratory coffee…)
Getting this site out the door took some serious back-and-forth. I swear we probably changed the Services copy about a dozen time’s (let the record show: spelling checked). It’s built on Bricks Builder and Smart Slider for the visuals — plus frameworks like BIM and custom CSS were used to keep things responsive and lively, without slowing everything down. We triple-checked the contact forms powered by Fluent Forms, so nobody gets stuck messaging into a void.

If you’ve seen a lime-green porta potty lately — that’s Affordable Portables! That color’s used all over the site to feel inviting and clean (not gloomy!). Navigation is simple with big service buttons and clear calls-to-action.
And yeah, we managed to fit in cheerful icons and real product photos so it doesn’t feel generic.
This site’s quick. Thanks to a dose of custom JavaScript, some performance tricks, and all the Micro Themer tweaks you could want—pages load fast, forms work, and even mobile users don’t get stuck scrolling for ages. ADA features were double-checked, but we’re always chasing ways to do better. (Hot tip: The Accessible Flush units really do have more space than most folks expect!)

This whole site is built to handle actual local business — not just a bunch of stock photos. You’ll see Manhattan and Wamego mentioned, and we aimed for practical, honest language. If you spot a misspelling, that’s probably Anthony writing too fast (thanks, Grammarly). The newsletter even thanks you personally, because we want every customer to feel at home here.
This launch wraps up months of Kansas-focused build work, and we’re proud it’s running live. The Affordable Portables site proves again how local design and real-world details matter. Built by Anthony Richter at MKS Web Design — any feedback or typo tipoff is welcome!
